about

About two years ago I made a single called "Prelude/Paragons". After realizing that the original didn't sound very good, complete, and to my liking, I decided to completely remake it from scratch. This is the new and definitive version of the song, and I'm pretty proud at how well it turned out.

Track Name: Prelude/Paragons (Remastered)
VERSE 1:
Watching the sunset
Psychedelic sort of palette
We spend all our time connecting the dots
But we don’t know what the picture is going to turn out to be

Nostalgia glasses on
We aren’t exactly paragons
Carry the weight and see the results
Of mistakes that were made to protect society

CHORUS:
All those things I could’ve done but
Instead of reflecting I just tried to forget

All those things I should've done
I know I will always regret

VERSE 2:
Watching the clouds go by
Mankind has never learned to fly
The beginning of the year we are born anew
But we die in winter no matter what we do

Oh sweet maiden by the sea
Don’t drown in front of me
‘Cause the tide’s coming in and it’s too late to save you
And I feel so hopeless when you’re far away from me

CHORUS [x2]:
All those things I could’ve done but
Instead of reflecting I just tried to forget

All those things I should’ve done
I know I will always regret
